Siding, soffit & capping
Siding rated for salt air and wind off the water, trimmed and capped so water leaves the building instead of sitting in it.
Siding fails at the edges, not in the middle
A wall of vinyl rarely fails across its face. It fails where it meets something else — a window, a corner, a roofline, a soffit return. Those are the places water gets behind the wall, and once it's behind the wall you don't see the damage until it's expensive.
Long Island makes this worse than most places. Wind drives rain sideways off the water, the freeze-thaw cycle works at every joint through February, and the sun on a south-facing wall degrades cheap material fast.
Which is why the trim work matters more than the siding. Anyone can hang a panel. The job is in the capping, the J-channel, and the flashing above the openings.

What we do
Vinyl siding installation
Full re-side or a single elevation. Insulated options where you want the energy benefit as well as the look.
Soffit and fascia
Ventilated soffit so the roof assembly can breathe, and fascia that gives the gutter something solid to hang from. A gutter is only as good as the board behind it.
Aluminum capping
Window and door trim wrapped in aluminum, bent on site to fit. Ends the repainting and stops water sitting on exposed wood.
Repairs and storm damage
Cracked or blown-off panels after a storm, color-matched where the original is still available.
Custom color and trim
Color, profile, and trim detail chosen before we order, not after.
Signs your siding needs attention
Walk the perimeter of the house once and look for these:
- Panels that rattle or move when you press them
- Cracking or splitting, usually worst on the south and west elevations
- Gaps where the siding meets window trim, corners, or the roofline
- Bare or rotting wood visible at window trim, which is what capping prevents
- Soffit panels sagging, stained, or missing — often the first sign of a roof or gutter problem behind them
- Paint failing repeatedly on the same trim, which usually means the wood is staying wet

Placeholder pricing. These rates are stand-ins until David’s real numbers go into lib/pricing.ts. The geometry is right; the dollars are not yet.
A real number needs eyes on the house — hidden rot, decking, and existing flashing all move the price. This range gets you oriented before you call.
Questions we get asked
Can you side just one wall?
Yes, and sometimes that's the right call — a single storm-damaged elevation doesn't justify re-siding the whole house. The honest caveat is color: vinyl fades, so a new panel next to fifteen-year-old panel won't match exactly. We'll show you the difference before you decide.
What is aluminum capping, and do I need it?
It's aluminum bent to wrap exposed exterior wood — usually window and door trim. If you're repainting the same trim every few years, or the wood underneath is soft, capping ends that permanently. It's one of the highest-value things you can do to an older Long Island house.
Does new siding help with heating bills?
Insulated siding helps, but it's not a substitute for attic insulation, which is almost always the cheaper win first. We'll tell you if we think your money is better spent elsewhere.
How long does a re-side take?
Most single-family homes are several days depending on size, the amount of trim work, and how much rotted sheathing we find once the old material is off.
Do you do soffit work on its own?
Yes. Damaged or sagging soffit is often the visible symptom of a gutter or roof problem, so we'll look at what's causing it rather than just replacing the panel and leaving the cause in place.

I have no words to express how amazing David and Heather are! Besides being amazing roofers it is also their genuine care for the job and for the families they are doing the job for is something I have never seen.
So great to meet Dave, a guy who still takes pride in his work. A good experience from my first call, speaking to Heather through the completion of the work. Will be using Strong for regular maintenance and beyond.
David just installed our gutters with guards and it looks great! He was very prompt and very professional. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs gutters.

Amazing customer service!!! Very professional and prompt, they were able to repair a end cap that the wind blew off.
Job well done. The crew were very knowledgeable and pointed out a few imperfections on roof and siding. David/Heather quick response and went far and beyond to comeback to install an end cap for gutter drain to elevate the look.
A classic honest company where integrity and true work shine through. From the first call to the last second of completed work, your team was a pleasure. Thank you! Highly recommend.
Excellent service, would highly recommend for all gutter needs. They recently replaced a main gutter on my building clean, fast and concise work. 5 stars easily.
I never had an easier experience doing an exterior renovation. David was present from beginning to end and Heather was always a call away. The team was clean, on time and went above and beyond anything that needed attention.
The best service possible, very honest, incredible work, price is more than fair. Also very nice people to deal with, thank you so much guys!
I am writing this review not 5 minutes after David left my property. There are some businesses that still care about the work they do and actually take pride in the finished product. David from Strong Island is a dying breed.
The other two
Most jobs touch more than one of these. If the gutters failed, check the fascia behind them.
