Seamless gutters
Our specialty, and the reason most people call us. We roll the run to length in your driveway — no joints across the front of the house, and nothing to split open in February.
Every joint is a future leak
Sectional gutter comes in lengths and gets joined together on the house. Every one of those joints is sealed with caulk, and every one of them eventually fails — usually at the front of the house, usually visibly, usually in a cold snap when the water freezes and works the seam open.
Seamless gutter is rolled from a coil on site to the exact length of the run. A forty-foot run comes off the truck as one forty-foot piece. The only joints in the whole system are at the corners and the outlets, where they belong.
It's the same reason we're on the roof anyway: gutters are the part of the exterior that fails first and does the most damage when it does. Water that misses the gutter goes into the fascia, down the wall, and eventually into the foundation.

What we do
Seamless aluminum and copper
5-inch and 6-inch K-style, rolled on site. Six-inch where the roof sheds a lot of water fast — big surfaces, steep pitches, or long runs.
Leaf guards
Worth it under oaks and maples, unnecessary on an open lot. We'll tell you which you are.
Downspouts and drainage
Sized and placed so the water actually leaves — and discharged away from the foundation rather than at the base of it.
Gutter cleaning
Seasonal clear-outs before the leaves back up and the water starts going somewhere it shouldn't.
Repairs and end caps
Re-hanging sagging runs, replacing corroded hardware, and refitting the end caps that wind takes off every winter.
Signs your gutters are failing
Most of this is visible from the ground during or just after rain:
- Water sheeting over the front edge instead of running to the downspout
- A run that has visibly sagged or pulled away from the fascia
- Staining or peeling paint on the fascia board behind the gutter
- Water pooling against the foundation, or a damp basement wall on one side of the house
- Visible seams that are dripping, or caulk that has cracked and lifted
- Plants growing in the gutter, which means it stopped being a gutter some time ago
Aluminum or copper
Aluminum is the right answer for most houses: it doesn't rust, it comes in a range of colors, and it's a fraction of the cost of copper.
Copper is a different decision — it costs considerably more, it patinas rather than fading, and on the right house it looks like nothing else. We'll quote both if you're weighing it.
Near the water, gauge matters more than material. Salt air attacks the hangers and fasteners before it attacks the gutter, so on bayfront and oceanfront houses we specify heavier hardware as a matter of course.
Price it out before you call
A range in about thirty seconds. No email, no form, no salesperson calling you back.
The footprint of the house, not the total living space. A typical Long Island cape is around 1,200 sq ft; a colonial, 1,800–2,400.
Worth it under oaks and maples. Skip it on an open lot.

Placeholder pricing. These rates are stand-ins until David’s real numbers go into lib/pricing.ts. The geometry is right; the dollars are not yet.
A real number needs eyes on the house — hidden rot, decking, and existing flashing all move the price. This range gets you oriented before you call.
Questions we get asked
What does “seamless” actually mean?
The gutter is rolled from a flat coil of aluminum through a forming machine on the back of our truck, at your house, to the exact length of the run. Sectional gutter is pre-cut lengths joined on the wall with sealed seams. Seamless has no joints along the run — only at corners and outlets.
Should I get 5-inch or 6-inch?
Five-inch handles most Long Island homes. Six-inch is worth it when a large or steep roof surface dumps a lot of water into a single run, or where the run is long. We'll size it from your roof rather than defaulting.
Are leaf guards worth the money?
Under mature oaks and maples, yes — they pay for themselves in cleanings you don't have to book. On an open lot with nothing overhanging the roof, they're mostly unnecessary, and we'll say so.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Once a year for most houses, twice where there's heavy tree cover — ideally once after the leaves finish falling and once in spring. If water is already sheeting over the front edge, it's overdue.
Can you match my existing gutters?
Usually. Aluminum comes in a wide color range and we can generally match closely enough that a new run doesn't stand out. Exact matches to old, faded material aren't always possible, and we'd rather say that up front.

I have no words to express how amazing David and Heather are! Besides being amazing roofers it is also their genuine care for the job and for the families they are doing the job for is something I have never seen.
So great to meet Dave, a guy who still takes pride in his work. A good experience from my first call, speaking to Heather through the completion of the work. Will be using Strong for regular maintenance and beyond.
David just installed our gutters with guards and it looks great! He was very prompt and very professional. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs gutters.

Amazing customer service!!! Very professional and prompt, they were able to repair a end cap that the wind blew off.
Job well done. The crew were very knowledgeable and pointed out a few imperfections on roof and siding. David/Heather quick response and went far and beyond to comeback to install an end cap for gutter drain to elevate the look.
A classic honest company where integrity and true work shine through. From the first call to the last second of completed work, your team was a pleasure. Thank you! Highly recommend.
Excellent service, would highly recommend for all gutter needs. They recently replaced a main gutter on my building clean, fast and concise work. 5 stars easily.
I never had an easier experience doing an exterior renovation. David was present from beginning to end and Heather was always a call away. The team was clean, on time and went above and beyond anything that needed attention.
The best service possible, very honest, incredible work, price is more than fair. Also very nice people to deal with, thank you so much guys!
I am writing this review not 5 minutes after David left my property. There are some businesses that still care about the work they do and actually take pride in the finished product. David from Strong Island is a dying breed.
The other two
Most jobs touch more than one of these. If the gutters failed, check the fascia behind them.
